Method 1. Update Your Audio Driver
In most cases, outdated audio drivers are the problem behind audio-related errors. Thus, you should scan your system and search for corrupted or outdated audio drivers.
Here’s how you can update audio drivers manually on Windows 10/11:
Step 1. Click on the Start menu and search for Device Manager.
Step 2. Look for the Device Manager window’s sound, video, and game controllers. After that, you will see all the hardware associated with your audio chip.
Step 3. Double-click on the audio entry and switch to the Driver tab. Click on the Update Driver.
Step 4. Choose Search automatically for updated driver software.
Step 5. If no driver is available for update, go back to Update Driver and select Browse my computer for driver software.
